Aid available to small businesses subject to flooding
Small businesses subject to flooding will be provided assistance by the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC), according to Robert Bernier, assistant dean of the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Business Administration. NBDC is a department of the college.
Assistance includes online resources and one-on-one consulting assistance.
NBDC has added a page to its website with information for businesses facing harm from flood waters. Visit nbdc.unomaha.edu/about/floods.cfm to learn more.
The web page has information on reaching NBDC consultants serving areas expected to be impacted by flooding. They include: Loren Kucera, NBDC director at Wayne State College, who will work with businesses in northeastern Nebraska; Cliff Mosteller, NBDC director at UNO, who will work with businesses in the Omaha area; Mary Goebel-Lundholm, NBDC director in Auburn for Peru State College; and Ingrid Battershell, NBDC director in Scottsbluff.
NBDC services to Nebraska small businesses are supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
