The University of Nebraska at Omaha Department of Accounting program will produce highly qualified accounting professionals who will contribute significantly to the profession and the state.

Mission Statement

The Department of Accountings mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to students, to discover and disseminate knowledge about the field of accounting through research and teaching, and to provide relevant public service to the community. We strive to develop students who can analyze and solve problems, communicate articulately, use technology effectively, work as part of a team, and contribute to society.
