Preparing for your Academic Advising Appointment

• Be familiar with the College of Business Administration section of the Undergraduate Catalog.
• Review the copy of your matriculation form that you received at your last advising appointment.
• Make a note of courses that:
  • you need to repeat, if necessary
  • are required if you are in the honor's program, are a student athlete, or if you are ABR (you were admitted with unmet requirements)
• Choose Distribution Requirements you want to take, if all these requirements are not met yet.
• Select courses for next semester for which you intend to enroll. Choose some alternates and/or possible weekend courses.
• Write down questions.
• Bring your notes and questions to your academic advising appointment.
