Teaching
PhD (University of Nebraska in Lincoln) Professor Holland teaches Advertising, Consumer Behavior, Principles of Marketing and serves as the Internship Coordinator for the College of Business Administration. The internship program continues to grow under her leadership, and in 2003 provided internships in area businesses for well over 175 students in marketing, management, finance and banking.

Research
Professor Holland's research interests include the study of marketing issues related to ethnic groups, marketing and the Internet, and fair-trade marketing. Her work has been published in the Journal of Advertising, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Journal for the Art of Teaching, and Issues in Accounting Education. Dr. Holland was awarded the Sheth Dissertation Award, and a Best Paper Award the AAA Midwestern Conference, education track. She is a reviewer for the Journal of Retailing and Journal of Business Research and a member of the American Marketing Association, Association for Consumer Research, and Omaha Federation of Advertising.

Service
Professor Holland serves on the New Community Development Corporation Advisory Council and on the Boys and Girls Clubs of Omaha Marketing Committee. Before entering academe, Dr. Holland worked as a sales and service manager for the State of Nebraska for US West (now Qwest), product manager for US West, sales engineer for Northern Telecom, and account executive for AT&T and New England Telephone.
