Teaching
Professor Meglich teaches undergraduate Human Resource Management, Staffing, and Talent Development courses and the graduate HR Seminar and Executive MBA Human Resource Management courses. She serves as the Internship Coordinator for Management and Marketing students. Dr. Meglich has received the following teaching awards: CBA Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2012, CBA Distinguished Marketing and Management Professor of the Year in 2011 and 2012. |
Research
Professor Meglich's research interests include the study of dysfunctional workplace behavior; specifically workplace bullying and abusive supervision. She has also studied virtual collaboration processes. Her work has been published in the Journal of Applied Business and Economics, Journal of Management Policies and Practices, Journal of Ethics and Entrepreneurships, and Employee Rights and Responsibilities. Pedagogical research has been published in the Journal of Human Resources Education and she has published two Learning Modules for the Society for Human Resource Management. |
Service
Professor Meglich has provided many local organizations with volunteer-supported Service Learning experiences in her courses. Her students have completed various HR-related projects for numerous community organizations such as the Women’s Center for Advancement, OPPD, Valmont Industries, Methodist Health System. Dr. Meglich is the faculty advisor to the UNO student chapter of SHRM and has coached the student HR Games teams in competition. |
