Teaching
PhD (Rutgers) Professor Corcoran teaches Microeconomic Theory, Industrial Organization, Environmental and Natural Resource Economics, and Managerial Economics. His teaching interests also lie in the areas of transaction costs, Principal-Agent relationships, and market design.
Research
Dr. Corcoran's research interests include market design and cost effects of government regulation. His work has been published in Bulletin of Economic Research, The Journal of Industrial Economics, The Journal of Economics, and Public Choice. Professor Corcoran has served as a reviewer for the journal Public Choice.
Service
Before joining the professoriate, Professor Corcoran was in the US Navy, and taught at the National Defense University and at the Institute of Economic and Social Research, and was a Research Fellow at York, England.
