Kath Henebry

Teaching
PhD (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign) Professor Henebry teaches Principles of Financial Management, Intermediate Financial Management, and Risk Management. Dr. Henebry was awarded the 2003 College of Business Administration Dean's Citation for Excellence in Teaching, and has been active in the College's executive education programs. She is interested in teaching banking, corporate finance, and risk management and insurance.

Research
Professor Henebry's research interests include banking and credit union issues, insurance, and financial management, and she was the recipient of a University Committee on Research (UCR) grant, Summer 1996. Her work has been published in Journal of Insurance Issues, Financial Practice and Education, Journal of Education for Business, Journal of Financial and Strategic Decisions, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Pennsylvania Economic Review, and Academy of Economics and Finance Papers and Proceedings. She has served as a reviewer for Financial Practice and Education, and Journal of Economics and Finance Education.

Service
Dr. Henebry is a member of Financial Management Association, Midwest Finance Association, Eastern Finance Association, Southwest Finance Association, Southern Finance Association, American Risk and Insurance Association, Western Risk and Insurance Association, Academy of Economics and Finance, Financial Education Association.

Professor Henebry has served on a number of College-wide and University committees and task forces, and has been a contributor at associational meetings.
