Teaching
PhD (University of Missouri-Columbia) Professor Guo primarily teaches Commercial Bank Management, Investment Principles and Practice, and co-teaches a Fixed-income Seminar to graduate students managing a $2 million bond portfolio for a national bank.

Research
Dr. Guo's research interests include corporate governance, option pricing, market volatilities, and investment risk management. Her work has been published in Financial Management, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Futures Markets, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, just to name a few. She also has presented her research work at many professional conferences. Professor Guo has also used her expertise to review submissions for a numbers of academic journals.

Service
Professor Guo serves on a number of University- and College-wide councils and committees, including on the Advisory Board of the Maverick Investment Club. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.

Dr. Guo's community involvements include sitting on the Advisory Committee for the Secretary of State's "Nebraska: American International Heartland" Diplomatic Conference, participated in the Governor's Trade Mission to China in 2004 and the Governor’s 2008 reverse trade mission, and being a member of Salvation Army Plan Giving Committee.
