Teaching
PhD (Southern Illinois University) Professor Rowe teaches Banking and Financial Markets to graduate students. In the undergraduate program, she teaches Financial Markets and Financial Management. She is interested in and has taught in all four areas of finance: Financial Management, Banking, Investments, and International Finance.

Research
Dr. Rowe's research interests include financial institutions and markets, corporate finance, and international finance. She has been awarded four competitive research grants from the NASDAQ Stock Market, Inc., University Women's Professional Advancement Juried Competition at Southern Illinois University, and UNO Committee on Research at University of Nebraska - Omaha. Her work has been published in Journal of Financial Markets, Financial Review, Journal of Corporate Ownership and Control, China Journal of Finance, Corporate Finance Review, International Journal of Finance, Journal of Business Strategies, etc. She also published book chapters with publisher Routledge of Oxford, Great Britain and Beijing University Press. She has reviewed research for a number of journals such as Financial Service Review, Quarterly Journal of Business and Economics, and Journal of Business Strategies.

Service
Professor Rowe is a member of American Finance Association, Financial Management Association International, Chinese Finance Association, and Rotary International. She has served on the program committees of Financial Management Association International Annual meetings and Southern Finance Association Annual Meetings. She is a finance editor for the ASBBS E-Journal, an investment panelist for the Midlands Business Journal, and a member of the UNO Maverick Investment Advisory Board. In addition, Dr. Rowe provides consulting services for U.S. companies that are interested in doing business in China.
