PhD (Rutgers University) Professor Co teaches International Trade, Research Methods in Economics and Business, Introduction to International Economics, and Managerial Statistics for Business. Her teaching interests also include International Economics, Industrial Organization, Applied Econometrics, and Applied Statistics.

Research
A prolific researcher, Dr. Co has research published in Review of Development Economics, Review of International Economics, Land Economics, Applied Economics, Economics of Innovation and New Technology, The Annals of Regional Science, Growth and Change, Economics Letters, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Review of Industrial Organization, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Journal of Population Economics, Japan and the World Economy, and Journal of Economic Integration. Dr. Co has served as reviewer for a number of journals, including Review of International Economics, Journal of International Trade and Economic Development, Review of Development Economics, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Environmental and Resource Economics, and Journal of Environmental Economics and Management.

Professor Co's research interests include the spatial and temporal evolution of U.S. patenting; the determinants of U.S. exports of knowledge-intensive services; linkages among the following: trade, foreign direct investment, market structure and competitiveness, intellectual property rights, and environmental policy; intra-firm international technology networks; foreign firm contribution to U.S. technology development; wage differentials in high- and low-tech industries; and, managerial hiring preferences.
