Graham Robert Mitenko

Teaching
PhD (University of Memphis) Professor Mitenko teaches a majority of his classes at the graduate level. He also does a number of independent studies and projects with graduate students. At the undergraduate level, he teaches Corporate Financial Management and the Advanced Corporate Financial Management. He has also taught Investments, International Finance, Money and Banking, Portfolio Management and Personal Financial Management.

Research
Professor Mitenko's research interests include valuation, franchises, retirement issues, leasing, personal financial management, and entrepreneurship and small business development. His research has been published in Journal of Legal Economics, Financial Practice and Education, Journal of Business Perspectives, and the Midwest Journal of Business and Economic Perspectives. He is currently or has been a reviewer or had editorial responsibilities at: The Journal of Economics and Finance; Journal of Legal Economics; The Journal of Economics and Finance Education; Midwest Business Journal; Journal of Managerial Issues; Sloan Business Review; Journal of Financial Education; Journal of Financial Research and others.

Dr. Mitenko is Vice President of the Academy of Economics and Finance, a board member of the American Academy of Economic and Financial Experts, a member of Midwest Finance Association, Eastern Finance Association, Financial Management Association, Southwest Finance, Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society, and Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society, Financial Management Honors Society, Academy of Financial Services, Society of Financial Analysts, and the Southern Finance Association.

Professor Mitenko has served as an internal auditor and worked in financial and accounting areas of the finance industry. He currently does financial consulting and is a practicing expert witness. He has held office in The Nebraska Walleye Association, the Aksarben Curling Club, and the Midland Antique and Classic Buick Club of America. Professor Mitenko is also quite active with the UNO College of Business alumni community.
