Teaching PhD (University of Nebraska - Lincoln) JD (Creighton University) Professor Ottemann teaches Human Resource Management, Management, and Labor Relations and the topics in these courses comprise his primary teaching interests. Research Professor Ottemann research interests include public sector labor relations, executive compensation, and managerial selection. His work was awarded Best Research Paper by the American Society of Personnel Administration. Dr. Ottemann has published in HR Magazine, Business Horizon, and Personnel Journal. Service Professor Ottemann is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and has worked extensively for a number of charitable and service organizations in the region. |
