College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha

The UNO Center for Economic Education provides instructional and professional development services in economic and personal finance education to K-12 school districts in the Omaha metropolitan area. The UNO Center is affiliated with the Nebraska Council on Economic Education and accredited by the Council on Economic Education.

Established in 1984, the Center is located in the College of Business and is co-sponsored by the College of Education. Faculty Co-Directors, Janet West, Economics, James Dick, Teacher Education, and Associate Director, Mary Lynn Reiser oversees operations of the Centers. In 2004, the Center received the Albert Beekhuis Award of Excellence from the Council on Economic Education as the most outstanding Center. Associate Director Mary Lynn Reiser received the 2009 Distinguished Partner Award from the Nebraska Career Education (NCE), for details see the news release.
