Produced long-run macroeconomic forecasts for U.S. and Indiana. Developed and simulated county level econometric model for Indiana. Managed and simulated the center’s input/output model for Indiana. Conducted impact analyses of electric utility deregulation in Indiana. Conducted economic impact analysis of the effect Eli Lilly has on Indiana’s economy.
Economist, Construction Market Analysis Group, F.W. Dodge/McGraw-Hill, Lexington, Massachusetts. July 1993 – August 1995. Built and simulated F.W. Dodge’s U.S. and regional econometric model of nonresidential construction activity. Constructed F.W. Dodge's macroeconomic forecast. Constructed detailed building model relating Dodge contract starts data to the Department of Commerce’s construction put-in-place series.
Associate Economist, U.S. Macroeconomic Service, DRI/McGraw-Hill (now Global Insight), Lexington, Massachusetts. April 1992 – June 1993. Conducted research and analysis on long-term macroeconomic issues. Constructed DRI’s quarterly long-term cyclical forecast. Produced DRI’s quarterly detailed consumer expenditure forecast. Generated monthly short-term alternative U.S. forecasts.

Forecast energy demand and production using DRI’s Domestic Energy Model (DEM). Conducted energy market analysis for several client-specific energy projects.
