Darryll M. Halcomb Lewis is an associate professor of Business Law in the Finance, Banking and Law Department of the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  He has been a member of the faculty since 1987, earning tenure in 1994.  He is a member of the undergraduate and graduate faculties.  He teaches undergraduate business law courses.  On the graduate level, he teaches in the Executive MBA program and the Masters in International Business program, both programs heavily emphasizing international law.  His research interests include workers' compensation, anti-discrimination laws, sports law, international law (particularly Africa) and the legal implications of disease, especially the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).   He travels extensively including to Europe and Africa.  He is a line judge in the National Football League.  Professor Lewis received his BA at Dartmouth College in 1975, and his JD at Creighton University in 1978.
