Tasks to help you Work Up the Assessment Tools (after Learning Goals, Objectives, and )

UNO CBA's allocation of AACSB accreditation tasks This document gets updated.  The version is noted by the date in the header.  The most recent version is August 2005 and is based on the 1-1-05 Standards.  Two page list of Council tasks distributed at the August 2005 Retreat.

AACSB has published "white papers" interpreting some of the most critical components of the Standards.  Two of these white papers address "academically qualified" (AQ) and "professionally qualified" (PQ).  These interpretations require that no less than 90% of the "faculty" must be either AQ or PQ, and at least 50% must be AQ.  In response to the UNO CBA's Mission and these white papers, UNO CBA has adopted a set of procedures for classifying faculty as AQ, PQ, AQ&PQ, or Other.  For UNO CBA's recordkeeping an Excel spreadsheet is provided to each faculty member for self reporting that initiates that classification.

Links:    The most current version of the Standards always should be verified by visiting the AACSB web site.  At the time of this writing and in the past, that most current version could be found under the Accreditation tab.  Below are links on this web site to various versions (read:  not necessary valid today).  You also may benefit from visiting the AACSB site to obtain an annotated set of the current Standards.
