Deciles Reports
Both the Spring 2003 BSAD 8010 "Legal, Ethical, and Social Environment" and the Spring 2003 LAWS 3910 "Introduction to Business Law and Ethics" have an Extra Credit assignment dealing with "Deciles Reports". These assignments are not identical. However, they have similar building blocks based on "decile variables". This web page deals with those decile variables.
Below are listed a variety of variables for decile reports. With each variable is listed the student name(s) that are responsible for preparing a report based on that variable. Within each class section, only one student or student group may prepare a report on a specific variable.
Each Deciles Report contains six PowerPoint slides, printed in horizontal handout form, on one sheet of paper. See your syllabus. Those six slides include three graphs and three accompanying slides commenting upon the graphs. Those three graphs will display data for the world, the USA, and Nebraska. Those three graphs will display how, in 10% increments, the population is distributed over a given variable.
The variables below are only some of the variables that would be acceptable. If student has a particular interest in an area, then that student should propose a variable to the professor.
