With notice
of an impending potential vote, those attending class on Wednesday, September 23
voted to amend the course Syllabus with respect to exams. A single
sentence of that Syllabus was amended. The amended sentence can be found
in the Syllabus section "Exams:". The second of three sentences of the
second paragraph of the Syllabus section "Exams:" was amended. In the
original Syllabus that sentence reads as follows: "All exams require you
to have your textbook with you because the exam questions will ask questions
about the textbook's end-of-chapter questions.". That sentence is amended
to read as follows: "All exams after Exam #1 shall be in the True-False
format seen on O'Hara's web site's Past Quizzes and Exams section.".
None of the
dates of exams are changed. None of the times of exams are changed.
As originally, all exams are open book. The number of questions and the
worth of each question are not changed.
