George Harris, Interim Dean

UNO's Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs identifies the following at the duties of the CBA interim dean:

The interim Dean of the College of Business Administration is the principal academic and administrative officer of the College, having leadership responsibility for the instructional, research/creative and service missions of the College. The interim Dean provides strong leadership for strategic planning and budget management of the College. The interim Dean has budget and personnel authority for the College. The interim dean reports to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.

Dr. Harris had no driving need to undertake major revisions in the college and allowed the faculty and committee structure of the college provide the necessary leadership during the interval while a permanent dean was being selected.
