Can I substitute a different class for a requirement?

The class I want is full, how do I get in?
First, you need to get the permission of the instructor teaching the course, then you need to get an override/add-drop slip from advising, fill it out and get the required signatures. Then you need to register for the course. The best around this is to register for your classes as early as possible. Sometimes, it is impossible for the professor to give you permission to get into their class due to space restrictions, such as the number of seats in the classroom or the number of computers available during class.
