The purpose of the Advising Office is to assist students in meeting the
requirements for graduation and to interpret college policy regarding
academic requirements. The college has established a centralized
advising system to assist students with the planning of their academic
programs. Advisors perform a variety of functions including
one-on-one advising, review of applications for upper-division,
evaluation of transfer credits, posting grades, updating matriculation
forms, and conducting senior checks and graduation audits. We recommend visiting the advisors often.
Advisors are routinely asked the same questions by students. To help provide some answers to you, in case
you have a question after hours or when you cannot get a hold of an advisor, we have set up a page which
lists down the most common questions asked of the advisors.
